Craig started with Mechanicare in January 2019 after purchasing the business from the retiring founder. Craig started in the automotive industry in 1996 as an apprentice automotive technician in a Toyota dealership. Prior to this venture Craig enjoyed roles in retail and hospitality management and emergency services. Outside of work Craig enjoys camping, fishing and spending time with his family going on all sorts of adventures.
Jacki started with Mechanicare in 2007, after moving to Australia from Zimbabwe. Having previously worked overseas in a large secretarial agency, Jacki transitioned into the automotive industry. Outside of work Jacki enjoys camping, hiking and other outdoor activities.
Dave started with Mechanicare in 2003 in their original premises. Dave has over 30 years’ experience in the automotive industry, starting his apprenticeship in country NSW in 1990. After spending some time at large dealerships, Dave made the switch to some small independents before settling in to Mechanicare before the move to their current location. Outside of work Dave enjoys road motorbike riding, fishing, gardening and home renovation.
Hoges started with Mechanicare in 2017, 30 years after starting his apprenticeship in central Queensland. Hoges’ three decades of experience in the automotive industry have been spent predominantly working on trucks, buses and other heavy machinery, however several years ago he made the transition to specialising in passenger and commercial vehicles. Outside of work Hoges enjoys trail and road motorbike riding, playing guitar and photography.
Andy started on the tools in the UK in 1999, and relocated to Australia in 2014. Having previously worked in large dealerships and franchises, Andy wanted more work-life balance and wanted to make better use of his existing skill set, and started with Mechanicare in early 2021. Outside of work Andy enjoys taking his dogs to the beach, road motorbike riding and weekend getaways exploring the local area.
Jacob started with Mechanicare in 2018 after completing one year in mechanical engineering at university. Jacob wanted to get more ‘hands-on’, and a mechanical apprenticeship was the perfect fit for him. Jacob grew up in the Noosa area, and completed all his schooling in Noosa and the surrounding area. Outside of work Jacob enjoys trail motorbike riding, camping and four-wheel driving.
